Essential Functions
Assists with all operations and processes of the Warehouse, including shipping, receiving, ordering and distributing merchandise.
Compiles and provides all shipping and receiving documents to the Accounting department for payment of the invoice.
Reviews, fills and distributes supply orders to all buildings on campus (completed on a daily and as needed basis).
Handles and moves all equipment and furnishings for residents and staff.
Performs quarterly physical inventory of Warehouse items.
Responsible for completing and maintaining fixed asset inventories for all buildings on campus. Compiles state inventory of fixed assets, including numbering equipment and tracking the location of all equipment.
Evaluates and performs necessary procedures for equipment and fixed asset disposal.
Provides leadership for Warehouse staff and resident workers.
Coordinates the storage of the resident's personal items. Maintains an inventory of these items and is responsible for securing these items. Obtains permission for disposal of obsolete personal items and proceeds with disposal and tracking of these items.
Maintain frequent contact with vendors to reconcile discrepancies or shortages and delays in shipping.
Responsible for inspection and OSHA safety requirements for the Warehouse and delivery processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferences Preference may be given to applicants with one or more years of experience in shipping, receiving, or Warehouse operations.
Knowledge
Knowledge of procedures, principles, concepts and methods of purchasing and inventory control.
Must have good communication skills and establish interpersonal relationships with staff, residents, vendors, and resident workers.
Knowledge of methods and principles used in modern warehouse procedures.
Able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and motor vehicles.
Able to perform physical requirements of the job (requires lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, kneeling, overhead lifting, climbing, walking, and ability to move heavy furniture items).
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions in inside and outside locations and on a variety of surfaces.
Must be able to perform work in the presence of residents, including those with aggressive and challenging behaviors.
Must be able to work with and direct the work of residents who have work assignments at the Warehouse.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Associate's degree (typically in Finance).
Experience:
0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Purchasing or Inventory) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I.
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Purchasing or Inventory) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I.
Physical Working Conditions
Must be able to lift and move heavy items.
Must be able to work in a variety of locations and on a variety of surfaces.
Must be able to climb ladders, stand and walk for long periods, twist, bend, lift, push, pull, squat and kneel.

FLSA: Non-exempt.
A background check, including the taking of fingerprints, will be completed through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, Department of Family Services, and the F.B.I. for every successful applicant.
Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be conducted on safety-sensitive positions. Drug testing will be conducted on any position if reasonable suspicion exists.
