We need seasoned cloud delivery professionals who deliver world‑class implementations — finding the right balance between delivery rigor and discipline and creating an exceptional customer experience. They spend the majority of their time with the client, at their location, serving as trusted technical advisor.
Responsibilities The role:
The Oracle Cloud PaaS Full Stack Developer is a multifaceted role that requires a combination of skills:
strong leadership and management skills
outstanding communication and customer relationship management skills
solid knowledge in SaaS Applications technology and OCI/PaaS technology
solid understanding of SaaS functionality, processes, and capabilities
The tech lead is accountable for all technical scope items, works collaboratively with functional resources on/offshore and directs the work effort of on/offshore technical teams to meet commitments to our customers on time and on budget.
The tech lead is expected to perform as an advisor to the customer, provide guidance and direction, and maintain a productive relationship. Specific responsibilities include:
Facilitate workshops on all technical items
Ensure quality processes and peer reviews are being followed
Track and communicate status, anticipate/foresee risk, elevate, and implement mitigations
Ensure the technical scope is delivered on time and budget and meets our quality standards, resulting in referenceable customers.
Qualifications Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
Expert understanding of multiple of the following workstreams:
You should be advanced in Oracle SaaS Architecture, Data Migration, Integration, Reporting, and Extensions; specifically, ERP, HCM or SCM, inbound and outbound capabilities as well as reporting and extensions. You will possess the expertise to create strategy documents for all major technical activities, using our standard templates and tools and can provide solutions adhering to best practices.
Client relationship management:
You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction. Active listening, consensus‑building, using a consultative approach to guide client decision‑making, empathy and collaboration.
Team leadership:
You’ll lead and mentor a team of cloud analysts and consultants, both on‑shore and off‑shore, providing guidance and support to ensure their success. You will apply the same skills listed above for client relationship management, but in the context of leading teams.
Communication:
You’ll effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. You’ll use the appropriate level of detail according to the audience with whom you are engaging and demonstrate active listening. You’ll demonstrate confidence and executive presence when delivering presentations.
Problem‑solving:
You’ll be able to troubleshoot complex technical issues and find creative solutions.
Technical support:
You’ll facilitate technical support to clients, serving as a liaison to the offshore technical team or product support.
Sales Pursuit Support:
You’ll conduct technical discovery sessions, work with deal teams on solution design and estimation, and participate in sales presentations showcasing our teams’ solutions, experience, and capabilities.
Drive Innovation:
You’ll contribute/lead innovation and initiatives as part of our communities of practice and cross‑functional teams.
Continuous improvement:
You’ll identify areas for improvement in cloud solutions and processes and implement changes to enhance performance and efficiency.
Technical skills:
You’ll have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
Expert understanding of OCI, can design and implement secure and scalable OCI architectures and optimization strategies. Expert skills in OCI governance, automation, provisioning, security groups, and deploy compute instances, storage, and networking components.
Expert in Oracle SaaS Architecture, Data Migration, Integration, Reporting, and Extensions; including experience in SaaS (ERP, HCM, SCM, depending on area of expertise) inbound and outbound capabilities as well as reporting and extensions
Advanced knowledge of JET development. Or advanced knowledge of Java scripting frameworks such as JQuery, JQueryUI, Require, Knockout, AngularJS, React, PReact
Fundamental understanding of Core Java EE Development/Architecture
Expert hands‑on knowledge scripting tools (EL, Groovy, Xpath, Xquery, Javascript)
Expert hands‑on experience in development of WebServices (SOAP & REST using XML/JSON Payloads)
Deep understanding and experience developing enterprise applications with HTML5 and CSS3
Excellent understanding and experience developing applications using enterprise authentication and authorization concepts
Advanced knowledge of full stack application development using ADF (Or JSF) utilizing cloud‑based design patterns
Advanced knowledge of integration servers and its utility in cloud‑based business integration solutions
Knowledge of BPM Suite in design, development and architecture
Working knowledge of various Oracle PaaS offerings including JCS, IC, iPaaS, Process Cloud, Mobile Cloud, Document Cloud, Messaging Cloud is preferred.
Sound Understanding of Business Processes and capabilities within SaaS and across Industries/verticals/processes is preferred.
Understanding of Inherent tools and technologies of SaaS Applications (FBDI, BIP, ADFDI, Services in OER, Applications Composer, BIP) is preferred.
Adv. skills of Oracle FMW architecture, development and administration is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructures, within the context of application development. Experience in at least one of the cloud providers is expected: Oracle OCI, Azure, AWS or GCP is a must.
Functional skills:
Experience and clear understanding of functional concepts in SaaS modules in areas of expertise
Expert in enterprise‑wide architecture, system integrations, and best practices in cross‑functional solutions, dependencies, workflows and interaction between modules.
Project management: planning, tracking scope, collecting and reporting status, identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks; effectively managing resources and identifying needs and changes.
Customer relationship building and expert in stakeholder communication, negotiation, and executive presentations.
Staying up to date:
You’ll need to continuously learn about emerging cloud technologies and best practices.
Project management:
You’ll drive the technical activities of cloud projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Industry expertise is highly desired.
