Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a

Quality Manager , primarily located at

Bondcote Performance Textiles’ Graniteville, SC facility . The Quality Manager will oversee quality systems and compliance for

two companies: Bondcote Performance Textiles and XFS Global . The Quality Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of quality assurance and quality control at Bondcote Performance Textile's manufacturing facility in Graniteville, SC and overseeing ISO-certified quality systems at XFS Global (recertification received December 2025). This role provides hands‑on leadership across plant quality systems and on‑site laboratory operations, ensuring that products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal performance requirements. This role will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

Operating in a high-volume textile manufacturing environment, the Quality Manager partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and EHS to drive a quality-first, data-driven culture while supporting efficient production and continuous improvement.

Fast-paced, production-driven setting requiring strong prioritization and presence

Salary Range This position offers a salary range of $95,000–$120,000, based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as skill, education, and relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities Quality Systems & Compliance

Own and continuously improve the plant’s Quality Management System (ISO 9001)

Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements

Lead internal, customer, supplier, and third-party audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up

Drive effective Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes using root cause analysis methodologies

Manufacturing Quality Oversight

Oversee incoming raw material inspection, in-process quality controls, and finished goods validation

Partner with Operations to reduce defects, improve first-pass yield, and stabilize processes

Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and quality metrics to identify trends and drive improvements

Support new product introductions, trials, and process changes from a quality standpoint

Laboratory Operations & Technical Leadership

Lead and manage the on-site quality laboratory, including staffing, workload prioritization, and performance

Ensure accurate, repeatable, and timely testing of materials and products using approved methods

Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration programs, test method validation, and documentation

Ensure compliance with relevant testing standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO, AATCC, or equivalent)

Promote laboratory safety, data integrity, and continuous improvement in testing efficiency

Manage supplier quality performance, including material qualification and issue resolution

Serve as the primary plant contact for customer quality inquiries, complaints, and investigations

Lead customer issue resolution with timely communication and data-based corrective actions

Leadership & Culture

Coach, develop, and lead quality engineers, technicians, inspectors, and laboratory personnel

Build a quality-focused culture that balances compliance and rigor with production efficiency

Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance metrics for the quality team

Actively engage on the production floor and in the lab to model hands‑on leadership

Qualifications Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Textile Science, Materials Science, Quality, or a related technical field

5+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in textile, nonwoven, polymer, or high-volume manufacturing environments

Hands‑on experience managing or working within a manufacturing quality laboratory

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 , quality management systems, audits, root cause analysis, CAPA, and regulatory requirements

Experience using data, statistical tools, and quality methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to drive process and quality improvements

Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision‑making skills

Preferred Qualifications

Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) certification

Experience supporting customers with stringent quality or performance requirements

Familiarity with advanced SPC, MSA, or continuous improvement methodologies

Background in industrial, technical, or performance textile applications
