As an Executive Recruiter focused on Human Resources, you’ll drive new client acquisition and full‑cycle executive recruitment across Human Resources disciplines. You’ll own territory development for New York City, generate qualified job orders, and deliver high‑caliber HR leadership talent while championing an exceptional client and candidate experience. This role will be hybrid working out of our office in Flatiron three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and execute a territory go‑to‑market plan: prospect, cold/warm outreach, social selling, event/network engagement, and referral cultivation to create a steady pipeline of HR searches.

Negotiate fee agreements and commercial terms; partner with our Legal/Commercial Center to review redlines and finalize client contracts.

Run a rigorous search process: intake, competency modeling, market mapping, sourcing, long‑list/short‑list, interview prep/debrief, references, offer advisory, and onboarding support.

Apply LHH best practices to accelerate placements and differentiate our approach.

Advise clients on HR market dynamics (e.g., AI’s impact on HR, retention, leadership development), salary benchmarks to ensure informed decisions.

Orchestrate a white‑glove experience for both clients and executive candidates, maintaining momentum, transparency, and trust throughout the search lifecycle.

Coach candidates on executive branding, interviewing, and compensation strategy; prepare clients with structured interview plans and selection criteria.

Monitor HR talent trends (Retention, AI enablement, dynamic culture, leadership development), share insights with clients, and contribute content to LHH thought leadership.

Attend local HR and talent networking events to build brand presence, deepen market knowledge, and cultivate new client relationships.

Qualifications:

Degree or 3+ years' experience in the staffing industry

3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the staffing, recruitment, or HR services industry.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong understanding of staffing services and workforce solutions.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission

Available paid leave includes PTO on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.

Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on achievements outlined in the compensation plan.
