new, beautiful Spanish immersion preschool/daycare located in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis . The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, skilled in team leadership, and committed to providing a nurturing, culturally rich learning environment for children and families.

The Center Director will co-lead the daily operations of the preschool, including staff management, curriculum implementation, and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing early childhood education programs, engaging with families and staff, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Spanish (approximately 70%) and English (approximately 90%) ; preferred candidates will be fluent in both Spanish and English

Minimum of

24 semester credits

in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Minimum of

9 semester credits

in Administration, Leadership, and/or Management

At least 1 year of supervisory experience

in a licensed child care center

Bachelor’s degree preferred , but not required.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to self-direct

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Creative problem-solver who is adaptable and collaborative

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate staff

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and support staff while ensuring compliance with center policies and procedures

Manage administrative operations, including database management and tuition collection

Ensure DHS compliance, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation

Communicate professionally and promptly with families, staff, administrators, and community partners

Complete required documentation for NAEYC and Parent Aware accreditation

Oversee and participate in family engagement and community events

Manage enrollment processes and maintain required child and staff files

Complete at least 40 hours of professional development annually

Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean learning environment for children and staff
