The Subsidiary President serves as the principal executive officer of Alutiiq Integration and Repair, LLC. The Subsidiary President is responsible for overseas base operations support and serves as the principal operational authority for base support services across assigned overseas locations. The President oversees day‑to‑day operations, ensures compliance with corporate policies, and leads the Subsidiary's culture, strategy, and business development.

Responsibilities

Leadership, management and supervision of Subsidiary operations.

Delivers revenue and profit to annual operating budget goals.

Prepares and manages the annual operating budget for the Subsidiary.

Establishes a culture of shared values, attitudes and behaviors that form expectation‑based standards.

Develops and manages the Subsidiary business development/business management plan(s) with assistance from the Corporation, Member Committee, and Alutiiq support entities.

Oversees and manages the SBA reporting requirements with input and support from the Company’s SBA Compliance Director and the Subsidiary Member Committee/Board of Directors as needed.

Monitors Non‑Common Administrative Services (Non‑CAS) charges to Subsidiary overhead pools and ensures compliance with the relevant Consulting Agreements (CAs).

Effectively and efficiently implements corporate policies while adhering to limitations established to protect corporate interests using guides like the Signature Authority Matrix or security protocols.

Exercises good judgment when leading employees, sets the example through knowledge and inspiration, and leads staff while managing the Subsidiary's resources.

Provides oversight of project and program leadership and staff.

Interviews, selects, and on‑boards direct reports.

Inquires and resolves any issues and operational conflicts that arise with the operational management team within the Subsidiary.

Offers support and expertise to the operational management team in resolving issues.

Monitors and works with operational management team and Alutiiq Corporate Staff to resolve concerns raised by Subsidiary employees via Alutiiq's third‑party Hotline.

Procures and provides direction to consultants from Alutiiq Professional Consulting, LLC (APC) as needed to assist the Subsidiary in business development and proposal writing, and contracts or procurement management efforts.

Procures Common Administrative Services (CAS) for the Subsidiary of Alutiiq through an Intercompany Services Agreement (ICSA).

Annually reviews and coordinates any required changes for the following: Consulting Services Agreements between APC and the Subsidiary; ICSSAs between the Subsidiary and Alutiiq; sets the Strategic Vision for the Subsidiary; develops the strategic/business development plan for the Subsidiary in consultation with the Member Committee/Board of Directors and with the support of the Growth & Strategy Executive and the Growth & Strategy team as needed.

Leads subordinate managers, guiding the capture of new business, monitoring performance against goals and objectives, providing coaching and direction, and otherwise providing leadership toward success for the Subsidiary management team.

Communicates strategic vision to all subordinate managers within the Subsidiary, providing leadership to drive profitable performance and results in operations.

Participates and provides meaningful contributions in the Subsidiary's proposal Color Team reviews.

Participates and provides meaningful contributions in working groups, design solution meetings and strategic planning sessions for the Subsidiary.

Supports due diligence associated with representations and certifications and validates information supplied on the Subsidiary's behalf.

Reviews, approves, and executes bids and proposals for the Subsidiary.

Reviews all opportunities for the Subsidiary and accepts or rejects the opportunity to move forward in the capture process.

Provides oversight of New Awards and Project Start‑Ups.

Participates in contract award kick‑off meetings for the Subsidiary by providing direction as required to the operational management team within the Subsidiary as well as CAS and APC supporting entities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Leads project start‑up efforts for the Subsidiary either directly or by assigning Operations Managers or other personnel to perform those duties.

Provides oversight of operational projects awarded to the Subsidiary, executing, through oversight of the Subsidiary operational management team, all contracts and subcontracts (including modifications) awarded or related to any contract the Subsidiary is performing and in accordance with the Signature Authority Matrix.

Maintains communications with customers (contracting officer representatives, end users, etc.) to evaluate operational effectiveness and proactively learn issues for resolution.

Monitors employment‑related actions by the operational management team, of individuals employed by the Subsidiary.

Acts as the Subsidiary's forward face to clients by budgeting and conducting visits to project sites periodically, or as needed, to ensure successful contract performance.

Ensures regulatory compliance with performance standards, U.S. and host nation regulations, and applicable agreements such as Status of Forces Agreements (SOFA).

Leads development and implementation of policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and risk mitigation plans for overseas base operations.

Monitors, through oversight of the operational management team, project budgets and schedules for the Subsidiary.

Serves as the primary point of contact with the customer or delegates this responsibility when and to whom appropriate for the Subsidiary.

Assists and directs the operational management team to resolve any customer or subcontractor disputes related to work within the Subsidiary.

Provides liaison between awarded projects and corporate leadership and corporate staff.

Reports status of the Subsidiary's projects to Alutiiq's executive managers through verbal and written updates using information provided by the Subsidiary operational management team.

Serves as liaison between site and corporate safety or delegates this role when appropriate.

Reviews monthly President reports, project status reports, and informational dashboards for the Subsidiary and coordinates resolution of any issues identified.

Provides mentoring and training programs to the Subsidiary operational management team to advance professional knowledge, expertise, and organizational value.

Reports financial and project status for the Subsidiary to the Member Committee/Board of Directors or to the Subsidiary Board of Directors to a determined schedule, but no less than on a quarterly basis.

Participates in collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations on awarded contracts for the Subsidiary as needed; reviews draft CBAs and executes final CBAs.

Approves retention of consulting services in cases where the Subsidiary's business activities or operations warrant those services.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of proven experience working for government contractors, of which several years are as a leader for a corporate subsidiary, operating division, or large project.

A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in base operations, logistics, defense contracting, or military support operations.

Experience in OCONUS environments or contingency operations, with demonstrated knowledge of the challenges of operating in remote, austere, or complex international settings.

Demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams in high‑stakes, austere environments.

Working knowledge and experience with 8(a) companies and Alaska Native Corporations highly desired; expertise with new business startups a plus.

Demonstrated record of successfully managing P&Ls with revenue of more than $25M.

Must be a strong and agile leader with proven ability to work effectively across functional groups of the organization.

Possess superior communications skills and the ability to convey complex concepts and solutions to senior corporate executives through in‑person meetings.

Proficiency in operational planning, budgeting and financial analysis.
