Seeking an organized, self‑motivated team member to assist the Operations team with daily tasks. Responsibilities include coordinating order processing and tracking, data entry into various systems (Access Database, Inventory system, Title Management), Vendor PO upload and tracking, shipping document review, ensuring receipt compliance, monitoring daily change files, and other duties as assigned. This role will closely collaborate with demand planners, sales management, production teams, and our distributor to support Vendor compliance and company sales objectives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the processing, tracking, and logging of publisher withdrawal orders and internal stock transfer orders

Review daily receiving reports for pricing and carton compliance. Correct non‑compliance through verification of shipping documents, creation of work orders, and communication with warehouse, production manager, and Operations demand planners. Update metadata as needed

Run reports and create product allocation sheets

Analyze daily reports for necessary data entry in Title Management to ensure product metadata integrity, including category, format, title, and edition code changes. Verify with editorial staff as needed

Export title and inventory reports from Title Management and Catalyst, then convert them to Excel files for sorting and analysis

Maintain and update MS Access databases to retrieve projected demand reporting from distributors data warehouse

Monitor Vendor Purchase Order reports and upload new Purchase Orders or changes weekly. Ensure future pricing matches the assigned retail prices

Provide backup for daily inventory receipt entries

Organize and monitor corrugation and prepacks for ISBN setup, metadata in AMP systems, excess inventory, and work order completion

Perform various duties to support operational needs when assigned

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Strong attention to detail and organization

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Basic knowledge of shipment Bills‑of‑Lading

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting

Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making

Effective interaction with distribution partners and internal teams

Hard‑working, self‑motivated team player

Required to work onsite three days a week (with a training period up to 6 months where 5 days in‑office is required)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of three years related work experience

Manufacturing and distribution experience is preferred

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have general competence with other Microsoft Office applications

Experience with Access Database is a plus

Experience in customer service within a distribution or manufacturing environment is an advantage
