General Pipe Foreman Master Boat Builders is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
General Pipe Foreman
who will supervise and coordinate the fabrication and installation of piping components, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and production standards. The role involves managing a team of pipe workers, schedules, quality control, and may include material procurement and inventory.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and supervise the work of pipe foremen ensuring they are trained and performing duties effectively.
Manage schedules, prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
Manage productivity of the piping crews to avoid schedule delays.
Understands and follows the workflow and process.
Ensures all fabricated and installed components meet required quality standards, inspecting work for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Enforce safety regulations and procedures, ensuring safe working environment.
Identify and resolve issues or challenges in fabrication and installation process.
Communicate effectively with managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
May be involved in training new employees and providing ongoing development opportunities for the team.
Requirements
10+ years of prior experience in pipe fitting environment (highly preferred).
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Thorough understanding of fabrication techniques, piping systems, and welding processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures.
Schedule for this role:
Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
