Job Description
This position requires performing a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting, either fixed or mobile. The technologist must produce high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner.
Responsibilities include performing quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA as a designated Quality Control technologist under the direction of senior staff. Depending on location, the technologist may also be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams, bone densitometry (DEXA), or breast-related special procedures in conjunction with physician staff.
Required Qualifications
Formal radiologic technology training program that meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist – Mammography.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of full-time mammography experience.

Compensation & Benefits Posted wage range: $51.55 - $78.98 per hour. Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
