EMEA Payroll Lead
Location: EMEA – Homebased
About the Role We’re hiring an EMEA Payroll Lead to work with local teams to standardise and stabilise payroll operations across EMEA. Covering 15+ countries, you’ll play a critical role in driving both operational stability and strategic alignment. You’ll lead payroll execution within the region to improve and maintain quality, and have a heavy involvement in standardisation initiatives in collaboration with leaders and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead payroll for 700+ employees across EMEA, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Lead a regional HR/payroll team and support vendor coordination.
Drive payroll system improvements and standardisation efforts.
Lead audits and special payroll cycles.
Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure high quality payroll services.
Execute operational tasks to support day‑to‑day payroll delivery operations as needed.
About You
8+ years of payroll experience, with 3+ years leading regional and matrixed teams.
Expertise in EMEA payroll regulations and multi‑country management.
Proficiency in ADP, SAP, Workday, or similar systems.
Excellent stakeholder communication and problem‑solving skills.
Fluent in English; German, Dutch, French, Italian, Polish, Turkish, or Spanish is a plus.
