About The Role We are looking to hire a Senior Payroll Analyst who will be responsible for various aspects of the client’s payroll, including administration, distribution, and record‑keeping. The Senior Payroll Analyst will provide accurate data in the preparation of the client's payroll and requires an individual who can work well in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

As a Senior Payroll Analyst, You Will

Assist Payroll Manager with oversight of payroll processing and work of Payroll Analyst I and Payroll Analyst II.

Contribute to proposals and establish fee quotes; assist with onboarding of new clients and businesses, including interpretation of a variety of client data.

Input, verify and transmit payroll data for firm clients, including processing bonus payments and other special payrolls upon request.

Update the payroll system for new hires, terminations, salary changes, department changes, or any other pertinent payroll information received from the client.

Review quarterly payroll tax reports as needed and prepare payroll journal entry reports.

Assist with workers’ compensation audits, preparation of employee census data, uploading retirement plan contribution data to TPA or custodian, process year‑end fringe benefit additions, and respond to tax notices as necessary.

What You Will Need

Five years’ experience in payroll processing.

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, human resources or related field required, or high school diploma or equivalent and six years of payroll experience with two years supervisory experience working with complex payrolls, implementations and other advanced payroll issues.

CPA certification preferred but not required.

Knowledge of ADP Run and ADP Workforce Now (WFN) preferred.

Prior project management and client management experience preferred but not required.
