Quality Assurance Coordinator
Job Description As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will manage laboratory operations to ensure the quality of analyses, customer satisfaction, and compliance with organizational protocols. You will be responsible for maintaining ongoing compliance with relevant regulations, as well as advising the laboratory and clients on technical matters.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with regulations, accrediting bodies, and internal procedures
Supervise laboratory staff, including performance management, training, and disciplinary actions
Develop, implement, and monitor a quality management system
Deliver accurate results within customer-specified timeframes
Drive continuous improvement in techniques, analyses, and procedures
Identify, report, and resolve nonconformities with corrective actions
Coordinate annual competency evaluations and measurement of uncertainty
Conduct internal audits to meet accrediting body requirements
Manage customer complaints and feedback effectively
Lead annual Management Reviews in line with standards
Implement corrective and preventive actions to address deviations
Oversee document control and revision processes
Maintain regular communication with customers
Essential Skills
Experience in laboratory management, quality assurance, and microbiology.
BS in Biology, Microbiology, or Molecular Biology.
2 years of experience supervising a microbiology or molecular laboratory.
2 years of experience overseeing a quality management system.
Advanced knowledge in molecular biology and microbiology.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Geneva, IL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 – $75000.00/yr. Medical Dental
Vision 401K PTOWorkplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Geneva,IL.
