Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily operations on the production floor
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Monitor production processes and address any issues that arise
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance
Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and efficiency
Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivityMaintain production machines and work with maintenance on upkeep of equipment
Any other duties that the Company in its sole discretion may assign as needed
Required Skills/Abilities
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints, preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary
Ability to troubleshoot and multitask
Basic mathematic skills
Team player who is reliable and trustworthy
Maintains a clean and safe work area
Verbal and written communication skills in English
Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; required
Technical degree or certification, preferred
Experience as a production shift/team lead, required
Experience with 5s, preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment +2 years, required
Experience as a machine mechanic, required
Some electrical, preferred
Overhead crane, required
Quality control experience, preferred
Forklift experience, required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
This position requires, but is not limited to, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping
Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment
