The Air Traffic Control Specialist will learn all equipment associated with the duties and responsibilities of a Sikorsky Air Traffic Controller.
Develop skills required to operate all equipment to provide service to pilots.
Become trained and current in both Tower and Radar. Ensure Runway/Helicopter separation is maintained.
Enforce spacing and sequencing of all traffic transitioning in/out or through our assigned airspace.
Controllers must be able to understand complex situations, such as the impact of changing weather patterns on a plane’s flight path.
Controllers need to be able to prioritize tasks, as they may be required to guide several pilots at the same time and provide assistance during emergencies.

Basic Qualifications
Control Tower Operator (CTO) Certificate from the military, FAA or Contract Tower program
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience
Must successfully pass FAA DOT pre-employment screening
Desired skills
MS Office Product Knowledge
Radar experience preferred

Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader Select the Telework classification for this position Employee will work on-site full-time
