Job Description The Manager of Partnerships and Products manages innovative digital library projects including Lumen, Perma, and CAP, and others that advance open access to legal information. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for these high-impact initiatives, working with diverse stakeholders from university administrators to external partners. This role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, requiring you to manage project development, maintain key relationships, secure funding, and represent our work publicly. The manager may be called upon for other tasks at short notice.
As Manager of Partnerships and Products you will:
Be the primary day‑to‑day contact and a decision maker for digital library projects such as Lumen and CAP.
Represent the projects with internal and external partners, including university offices and external organizations, as needed.
Coordinate all communications and public relations for project initiatives.
Act as a public face of projects at conferences, workshops, and other events.
Secure funding through corporate and foundation donor relationships.
Draft grant proposals and funding pitches.
Manage software development, technical research, and publishing activities.
Guide maintenance and expansion of project websites and databases.
May train, assign and direct work of support staff, students, LHT’s and temps.
Write and manage project budgets.
Collaborate with administrative and communications teams on project aspects.
Maintain project management tools and coordinate research activities.
Conduct research and writing from blog posts to policy papers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Five or more years of professional experience in office administration and customer service.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
Progressive research skills with proficiency in research tools, both internet‑ and non‑internet based.
