Job Title: Quality Lead

Job Description

As a Quality Lead, you will support both the quality and sanitation teams, ensuring that all equipment and work areas are properly cleaned and maintained.

Responsibilities

Lead the cleaning crew during your shift.

Ensure all equipment and work areas are cleaned properly and on time.

Follow the cleaning steps listed in the company’s sanitation guide.

Learn the names and uses of cleaning chemicals and get certified to use them safely.

Report any equipment issues or problems to your supervisor immediately.

Listen to instructions and work independently when needed.

Maintain a neat work area and adhere to all safety and cleanliness rules.

Consistently wear the required safety gear such as protective clothing, steel‑toe boots, and safety goggles.

Essential Skills

Experience in quality check, quality inspection, and GMP within the food industry.

1+ years of sanitation/quality experience in the food‑related industry.

6 months-1+ years of GMP experience, open to other related environments like ISO and GLP.

Ability to read and understand safety rules, cleaning instructions, and diagrams.

Good teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma required.

Experience using cleaning equipment like power washers.

Previous sanitation or cleaning experience is required.

Willingness to learn about cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.

Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Reliable and safety‑focused.

Physical ability to stand and move around for long periods and lift and carry items as needed.

Work Environment The work environment involves a combination of lab settings and plant floors. The position involves a 50/50 split between lab tasks, such as salt, pH, yeast, mold, air plates, and ATP testing, and plant floor responsibilities.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaver Dam, WI.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
