Job Description
You will be the Electrical Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team designs, develops, and manufactures precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries, including the production of GMLRS rockets.
What You Will Be Doing As the Electrical Engineer you will lead technical coordination and oversight of subsystem suppliers, translating prime contract requirements into clear guidance for our supply base. You will own your assigned subsystem, drive issues to resolution, and support the GMLRS production line. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing technical leadership and guidance to subsystem suppliers and ensuring contract requirements flow accurately to them.
Owning the disposition of hardware through Material Review Board Engineer (MRBE) processes and supporting GMLRS rocket production.
Leading weekly supplier meetings, communicating issues and status to program leadership, Lockheed Martin, and government customers.
Evaluating electrical/electronic production failures, performing root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
Collaborating with cross functional teams to address integration and interface challenges during production.
Producing clear technical documentation on test failures, troubleshooting procedures, and compliance with engineering standards.
Supplying technical data and evaluations for components, equipment, and systems that meet engineering plans and contract requirements.
Assisting with technical proposals by providing content expertise and effort estimates.
Effectively communicating technical issues to program management, customers, and subject matter experts.

Basic Qualifications
Experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry.
Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit card assemblies (CCA).
Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Detail‑oriented with a focus on process and quality.
Desired Skills
Experience working technical proposals.
Candidate will need to be able to obtain MRBE status with the appropriate training/mentoring.
Experience working failure investigation, root cause and corrective action.
Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during technical issue investigation.
Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting.
Experience working non‑conformance disposition of hardware for production.
