Job Overview Hybrid arrangement: three days in office, two days remote.
Responsibilities
Design nuclear power plant systems, including modification packages for operating plants
Prepare functional mechanical drawings and drawings for nuclear plant systems
Conduct engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation
Develop technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment
Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment
Study and evaluate options for modifications to operating nuclear power plants
Additional Opportunities
Develop engineering cost estimates for small to mid‑sized scopes
Visit client office or plant sites for presentations and interfacing
Lead engineering project teams
Qualifications We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience or an MS degree
Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for mechanical design of nuclear power plants
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
