Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, configure, and manage Windows Server environments (2012+) across physical and virtual server and storage platforms, including VMware and Hyper‑V
Administer Microsoft Cloud technologies such as Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Exchange, and SharePoint
Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networking systems
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and related services to support enterprise‑wide user and resource management
Oversee system patching, security updates, and vulnerability remediation to maintain a strong security posture
Implement and enforce network security controls to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats
Manage storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and implement reliable backup and recovery strategies, including Veeam
Ensure 24/7 high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) for critical infrastructure systems
Develop, document, and routinely test disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Create and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and perform tuning to optimize system reliability and efficiency
Provide Tier 3 desktop support for complex issues, with availability to assist Tier 1/2 support as needed (less than 20%)
Work on‑site full‑time for the first three months, with potential for a one‑day‑per‑week hybrid schedule thereafter; must be available on‑call for critical issues
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in systems engineering or advanced system administration within a mid‑size enterprise environment
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience
Deep expertise in Microsoft Windows Server (current and recent versions)
Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies, preferably Hyper‑V
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies
Experience working with MSPs/MSSPs for NOC and SOC services
Solid knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity best practices
Strong background in cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices
Proficiency in PowerShell for automation, task scheduling, and configuration management
Experience driving process improvements and systems optimization initiatives
Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
