What You’ll Do
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies.
Conduct screening of personnel, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location to help deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem‑solving skills.
Carry out regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter potential risks and monitor for suspicious activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of screening activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during the shift.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to report and address security‑related concerns.
Participate in emergency response activities as required by site protocols.
Minimum Requirements
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
