Overview We are seeking ministry‑minded individuals to be on our After School team. The Christian After School Leader’s primary role is fostering youth development in an after‑school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities.
The position is non‑exempt, part‑time, averaging 17‑20 hours per week during the school calendar year (Monday‑Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.).
Responsibilities Lead elementary school‑aged children in enrichment and after‑school care activities, serve as a minister of the gospel, and model Christian values within the community.
Qualifications
Agrees with and exhibits behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
At least 17 years of age; high school diploma or GED preferred, post‑secondary training highly preferred
Passion for working with elementary‑aged children; experience preferred
Ability to work Monday‑Friday 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
Must earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
Pass mandatory background/sex‑offender check
Valid driver’s license or ID
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Dependable transportation available
Spanish‑speaking ability (greatly valued)
