Our client, a dynamic logistics provider, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations team supporting various warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good interpersonal skills which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Material HandlerLocation: Peabody, MAPay Rate: $22/hrSchedule: Monday to Friday; 7:00 AM – 4:30 PMNOTE: this is a temporary project for 2 months, through Mid-December
What’s the Job?
Organize and store items in designated locations, maintaining a neat and efficient warehouse.
Maintain accurate records of received items, including quantities and locations.
Monitor inventory levels and movements, ensuring everything is accounted for.
Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to resolve discrepancies.
Operate material handling equipment as needed.
What’s Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent attention to detail (accuracy is critical for this role).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to understand instructions, listen actively, and communicate clearly.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50lbs.
