Manager, Business Planning & Analysis
Business Development and Innovation
Reporting to the Director of Business Growth, this position provides day‑to‑day management of work that supports the enterprise strategy around OUH’s growth journey. The role analyzes, manages, and supports evaluating growth opportunities within the organization and oversees recruitment and ongoing development of employees within the Business Development and Innovation team.
NOTE: Though this role can work from home 1‑2 days per week, the selected individual must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Oklahoma City metro area to work onsite.
Essential Responsibilities
Business Transformation
Work cross‑functionally across the organization to evaluate and implement strategic initiatives, including market entry strategies, new product development, acquisitions and partnerships.
Gather and refine complex data sets to enable accurate and robust quantitative analyses; oversee collection of data and preparation of reports on services, activities and community benefits for senior management.
Define analytic approaches, integrate multiple analyses, and develop analytic understanding of problems to identify issues and opportunities to achieve actionable outcomes.
Draw upon healthcare knowledge, trends and experiences to highlight relevant implications.
Facilitate or participate in complex inter‑departmental projects with staff, physicians and practice representatives to develop business plans for new initiatives, services or joint ventures.
Handle and resolve issues that jeopardize success of the assigned area.
Financial Modeling & Forecasting
Develop and maintain financial models in collaboration with the finance team to assess the potential impact of strategic initiatives.
Project future utilization, volumes and market share of services in the community.
Prepare and present findings to management and staff.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with key internal stakeholders—finance, marketing, operations, product—to ensure alignment and drive execution of strategic initiatives.
Work closely with system finance team to create complex proforma models for short‑ and long‑range planning.
Collaborate with administrative, clinical, financial, and planning staff to develop strategic business plans, capital requests, integrated strategic financial plans, and management reports.
Executive Presentations & Reporting
Prepare and deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to the executive team, ensuring effective communication of progress.
Change Management
Support the organization through transformation and change by defining, communicating and implementing new strategies and structures.
Performance Monitoring
Track and measure success of strategic initiatives and suggest adjustments to maintain alignment with company objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; MBA preferred.
Experience:
3–5 years of progressive leadership experience with 3 years of planning, financial analytics, and project management responsibilities required; prior consulting experience preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
CFA preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Demonstrates collaboration, project management, problem‑solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
Strong critical thinking skills; ability to develop solutions that address client needs.
Succinct communicator who thinks well on feet and tailors communication to audience.
Experience working and managing in a team environment.
