Summary Data Engineers design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architecture. They ensure data availability, quality, and efficiency for analytics and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines.
Integrate data from multiple sources.
Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts.
Implement data governance and security measures.
Monitor data performance and resolve issues.
Document data architecture and workflows.
Evaluate new data technologies and tools.
Support data-driven decision-making processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in data engineering.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark).
Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Preferred Skills/Duties
Knowledge of data warehousing and BI tools.
Experience with data modeling and schema design.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Familiarity with real-time data streaming technologies.
