steel detailing, submittals, RFI/ASIs, change orders , and job walks
Skilled at building respectful, results-driven relationships with
GCs, superintendents, engineers, and field crews
Proactive, organized, and calm under pressure - you know how to
prioritize and drive timelines
without chaos
Passionate about the field, but also comfortable leading from the office or job trailer
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Full project ownership: from kickoff meeting through fabrication, erection, and final punch
Managing project budgets, schedules, and communication between
shop, field, and GC
Coordinating with
drafting teams ,
engineers ,
vendors , and internal labor
Supporting field foremen with clear plans, strong leadership, and daily follow-up
Reviewing and interpreting drawings, steel takeoffs, and scope clarification
Tracking change orders, cost impacts, and ensuring clean project closeout
Preferred Experience:
Structural steel for commercial or multifamily projects
Tekla, Bluebeam, Procore, or project management software
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
OSHA 30 or equivalent a plus
