Quality Control‑Inspector
at our St. Louis, MO location.
Responsibilities
Approve incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re‑work and waste; input data into quality database; develop and analyze trend data for various phases of production.
Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs when needed.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Update your job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Supports QC Test Technicians with testing documentation.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of relevant experience with hands‑on quality assurance inspection in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to analyze information, and document and report research results.
Desire to promote process improvement, safety and process management, manufacturing methods and procedures, innovation, and research.
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools.
Computer‑literate and functional ability in Microsoft Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to complete inspection documentation and reports.
A good attitude; strong team player.
