Join to apply for the 2nd Shift Part Time Forklift Operator I role at Coca-Cola Consolidated Location: Greenville Pay Range: $16.32 - $17.58 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: 2nd Shift; Mon‑Fri Job Overview The 2nd Shift Part Time Forklift Operator I is responsible for a variety of assignments within the warehouse, including building pallets, inbound unloading, outbound loading, replenishment of pick floor and Vertique mezzanine areas, and the fulfillment of customer orders. The role involves traveling throughout the warehouse pick area to retrieve and stack specific products and quantities based on the assigned Pick Ticket, while maintaining expectations of safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Other tasks may include pallet stacking, handling damage restack or rework, stacking product, and picking up pallets with a Pallet Jack when applicable. Duties & Responsibilities Retrieve and place cases of product onto predetermined pallets as instructed by the pick ticket, ensuring safe and stable pallet building that meets or exceeds warehouse safety and accuracy expectations. Unload inbound product, raw materials, and deposit items, transporting them from docks to designated storage areas safely, accurately, and efficiently. Load outbound product and deposit items from storage to loading docks, placing them on appropriate trailers safely, accurately, and efficiently. Replenish product to the warehouse pick or Vertique mezzanine areas by transporting items from storage to assigned bins safely, accurately, and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and warehouse; perform other tasks including pallet building as directed by management. May perform additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while walking and repeatedly lifting 30‑75 lbs. Ability to collaborate within a team environment. Ability to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes. Ability to adapt to role needs throughout the workday and meet minimum expectations of various work areas. Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen. Attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages. Ability to work in a noisy and non‑temperature‑controlled environment, including high and low temperatures. Intentional self‑starter who takes initiative and proactively seeks value‑add opportunities. Flexibility in scheduling is required as work hours may change based on business demands. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge gained through 1–3 years of work experience. Preferred Qualifications PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification: Pallet Jack, Single Forklift, Double Forklift, Scrubber. Work Environment Noisy and non‑temperature‑controlled environment, including high and low temperatures.
