A hospital in southeastern Virginia is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide ongoing Cardiothoracic Surgery and ICU locum coverage.
Opportunity Details: Schedule: 6:45p-7:45a Call Requirement: 1-2 days per week Setting: CSICU Nightly Volume: 20 patients, 1 admission Required Skills: Arterial catheters, venous lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, chest tube placement, endoscopic radial harvest, etc. First assist on CABG, valves, heart transplants, aortic dissections, thoracotomies, ECMO, cannulations, and MCS implantations ECMO, transplant, and mechanical circulatory device experience preferred Support Staff: 5 ICU APPs, 7 OR APPs EMR: Epic Paid travel & expenses Must be board-certified During your time off, explore a vibrant waterfront district, visit one of the largest botanical gardens in the region, and enjoy cultural performances at a renowned arts venue.
