Trade Specialist – Denver, CO Join Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., a global leader in tools and manufacturing, as a Trade Specialist in the Denver, CO area. This field‑based role is part of our Commercial Construction sales team and offers the opportunity to work with iconic brands such as DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN®, and STANLEY®.

Role Overview As a Trade Specialist, you will drive sales and build key relationships with end‑user partners in your assigned territory. You will mentor the local market team, collaborate with Channel Marketing, and manage sales through Salesforce.com.

Responsibilities

Achieve top‑line sales targets by selling DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTERCABLE brands to end‑user customers.

Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end‑user partners through product and services solutions.

Teach and mentor your local market team on end‑user development and the purchasing process across trade associations, safety personnel, engineers, and other influencers.

Collaborate with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.

Maintain and utilize Salesforce.com as a CRM and planning tool; communicate successes and failures in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred; relevant construction field experience may substitute for higher education.

3+ years of experience in sales or marketing for construction supplies with a proven track record of delivering results.

Experience selling to high‑level executives, C‑Suite, and jobsite directors preferred.

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Ability to blend empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results.

Valid driver’s license and physical ability to travel up to 50% within territory assignment.

Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
