Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a busy docket of insurance defense matters, including trucking and premises liability cases Develop case strategy, conduct discovery, take depositions, and prepare cases for trial Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel Contribute to firm growth and mentorship of junior attorneys Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar 8+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation Trucking and premises liability background strongly preferred Minimum billing requirement of 160 hours/month Preferred Qualifications: Dual licensure in Louisiana, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, or Oklahoma Trial experience with complex cases Proven ability to manage client relationships and develop new business Benefits
Competitive salary: $160k — $175k, based on experience Full health, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, and 401k benefits 15 vacation days + up to 10 PTO days per year Up to $500 CLE allowance annually State Bar dues paid by firm Monthly reimbursement for cell phone and fitness membership This is a unique opportunity for an experienced litigator to take the next step in their career, while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote position.
