This is a full-time on‑site Veterinary Technician role based in Pleasant Hill, CA. The Veterinary Technician will support veterinarians in providing specialized care for animals, including assistance in neurology‑related procedures. Responsibilities include administering anesthetics, monitoring patient vitals during treatments, delivering basic animal care, and educating pet owners on continuing care. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment is also expected. Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in Animal Care Proficiency in Veterinary Technology and Anesthesiology Strong skills in Client Education and effective communication with pet owners Compassion for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team Technician certification or degree in veterinary technology (or equivalent) is preferred Prior experience in a neurology or specialty veterinary setting is a plus
