Position Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Hematology/Oncology
Responsibilities See new and follow-up patients, urgent chemotherapy-related care, infusion reactions, and assist with triage calls and results. Help supervise the infusion suite Monday-Friday during normal business hours. No weekend call or inpatient coverage.
Required Qualifications
Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners OR Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
Driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years prior oncology, ER, or ICU experience preferred but minimal or less than 1+ years of prior experience to be considered based on skills, aptitude, and prior work experience
Conversationally fluent in Spanish
Compensation Salary range: $110,000 to $166,500 annually. Total cash compensation at target. Pay mix based on local markets, education, experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws. The role includes benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution.
