Hiring bonus and relocation assistance Up to $15,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible full‑time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Hours Full time (36 hours weekly) Variable Shift.
Responsibilities The Primary Care Nurse is in charge of the resident care for a specific group of residents, including supervision of team members such as Sharks. Nursing services delivered by the team are supervised and directly accountable to the Director of Nursing (DNS) through licensed nurses in the homes. The Primary Care Nurse coordinates referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families and physicians, and serves as the point of contact for elder information.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months of nursing experience in a health care facility (acute care, long term care, rehabilitation center).
Supervision / leadership experience.
