WHO ARE WE? Insomniac produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world. Enhanced by state‑of‑the‑art lighting, pyrotechnics and sound design, large‑scale art installations, theatrical performers and next‑generation special effects, our events captivate the senses and inspire a unique level of fan interaction. The quality of the Headliner experience is our top priority. Insomniac produces 10,000 concerts, club nights and festivals for seven million attendees annually across the globe. Since its inception, Insomniac’s events have taken place in 13 countries across five continents. The company’s premiere annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the world’s largest dance music festival and attracts more than 525,000 fans over three days. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.

THE ROLE Insomniac is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our in‑house creative team. This role will act as the right hand to the Creative Director, helping to elevate and evolve the visual identity of the brand across fashion, festivals, and culture. The ideal candidate is conceptually strong, detail‑driven, and culturally fluent, and also able to translate brand vision into design systems that connect with our audience across digital, physical, and experiential touch points. This position will report to the Apparel Director, Creative. This is not a remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner closely with the Creative Director to develop and execute design concepts across brand, campaigns, fashion, retail, and experiential activations.

Help define and evolve the Insomniac visual language, ensuring consistency and innovation across platforms.

Lead the creation of key design assets, from campaign identities to lookbooks, event branding, packaging, and digital content.

Provide art direction and guidance to designers, freelancers, and vendors.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Brand, and E‑Commerce teams to bring creative concepts to life.

Maintain a high design standard while managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Stay on top of emerging design trends, cultural movements, and creative technologies relevant to the Insomniac universe.

Train and provide support in onboarding team members, clients, vendors and partners when needed.

All other projects and initiatives as identified.

QUALIFICATIONS

5–7 years of design experience in a brand, agency, or fashion/music/lifestyle environment.

Expert in Figma & Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); motion/3D experience a plus.

Strong understanding of brand systems, typography, composition, and storytelling.

Proven ability to lead creative development from concept to execution.

Deep connection to music, culture, and fashion.

Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.

Designer with taste, intention, and range, able to move fluidly between brand worlds.

Obsessed with craft, cultural context, and collaboration.

Thrive in an environment that values creativity, speed, and innovation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines. Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while working on site at various event locations. Must be able to work in an open concept office space. Hiring Salary Range: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 USD. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the California Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements Law. It is estimated based on what a successful California applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in California or perform the position from California. Similar positions located outside of California will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Insomniac takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
