We’re looking for a full‑time Merchandiser Assistant in the Boston Metro area who is energetic, a strong communicator, and ready to get moving rather than sitting behind a desk.

Responsibilities
Regularly travel to meet with the list of accounts in your territory to determine possible and/or scheduled merchandising needs
Meet delivery trucks of customer accounts to assist in unloading product
Stock shelves with received M.S. Walker products
Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
Place proper point‑of‑sale materials on merchandise items in‑store
Originate display ideas or follow suggestions or schedule of the Merchandising Manager
Construct or assemble prefabricated display properties from wood, fabric, glass, paper, and plastic
Report to management regarding inventory levels, marketing and sales trends, and customer feedback
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Outstanding communication skills
Motivation, independence, and eagerness to learn
Strong decision‑making, customer service, and relationship‑management skills
Experience with retail operations and visual displays preferred
Knowledge of wine and spirits helpful
Ability to lift and move product of up to 45 lbs regularly
Minimum of high‑school diploma or GED
Additional Details
Frequent driving within assigned territory required
