Description: Azure Cloud Architect
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ, Omaha NE & Alpharetta GA (Onsite)
Contract: 12 Months
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience as an Azure Cloud Architect.
Strong expertise in Azure services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, Functions, Entra ID, Azure Monitor, and Azure Sentinel.
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for Azure infrastructure provisioning.
Solid understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Proven experience in designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong knowledge of networking and security concepts within Azure.
Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and NIST security controls.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to lead technical discussions and work effectively in a team environment.
Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Azure certifications such as AZ-300, AZ-301, or AZ-303.
Master’s degree in a technology-related field.
Microsoft security certifications.
Architecture-level experience with other major public cloud providers.
Familiarity with FISMA HIGH and FedRAMP HIGH security standards.
