Responsibilities

Build and optimize advanced Alteryx workflows to deliver scalable talent analytics and workforce insights

Develop and maintain strong data pipelines using SQL (Snowflake, SQL Server) with an emphasis on performance tuning and query optimization

Design and enhance interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and Power BI to provide leadership with real-time insights and compelling data storytelling

Establish Tableau development standards for design, governance, and performance optimization

Implement scalable data models and solutions that uncover talent trends, automate workforce processes, and support evolving organizational analytics needs

Leverage Power Automate to streamline reporting workflows and automate repetitive tasks

Collaborate with Talent and Business leaders to gather requirements, translate business needs into analytics solutions, and deliver insights that influence strategic decisions

Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve data workflows

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics

Strong expertise in SQL (Snowflake, SQL Server) and Python for data manipulation and automation

Hands‑on experience with ETL technologies and practical experience using Alteryx Designer for workflow creation and optimization

Extensive experience in Tableau and Power BI, including advanced visualization techniques and dashboard performance tuning

Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation

Solid understanding of data models (relational and dimensional) and ETL/ELT concepts/tools

Demonstrated experience developing, debugging, and tuning complex SQL statements, including PL/SQL

API integration experience is required

Ability to set up monitoring, alerts, and auditing for data workflows

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to data‑mine and propose effective solutions

Solid grasp of data governance fundamentals, including data security, standards, stewardship, and process refinement

Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, through clear communication and compelling data narratives

Demonstrated talent for translating complex analytics into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations

Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
