Job Description
ECS is seeking a
Technical Project Analyst
to work in our
Fairfax, VA
office supporting a fast-moving data platform and management effort.
In this role, you will be supporting the Project Manager and Technical Lead. This is a hybrid position, with the expectation for onsite work (Fairfax, VA and Springfield, VA) at least 3 days a week, with the potential for adjustment depending upon project and program needs. The majority of work will be conducted within a Classified SCIF environment. ECS has extraordinary customers who are thought and action leaders in the AI/ML field. ECS is seeking a Technical Project Analyst with proven technical capabilities to provide support for ongoing efforts supporting data management, administrative, and program development solutions for the US Government and Department of Defense.
This position assists with customer engagements including technical discussions and project monitoring and control. The Technical Project Analyst reports directly to the Project Manager and provides programmatic and technological support on current and planned daily activities. The Technical Project Analyst is expected to be IAT Level II certified or be able to obtain such a certification within 60-days of start date.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Orchestrating meetings and capturing meeting minutes
Organizing project kickoff and Technical Exchange Meetings
Facilitating customer/partner engagements to recognize data needs
Assisting Project Manager with resolving blockers and aligning cross-functional teams around project goals and technical requirements
This position offers a wealth of exposure to key AI/ML industry leaders and supports development, deployment and end-to-end support of frontier technologies.
Required Skills
Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and CI poly
System Engineering background
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Technology related field
1-2+ years of relevant work experience
Current IAT Level II certified OR ability to obtain such a certification within 60-days of start date
Proficient with MS office Suite, ticket tracking systems, SharePoint, etc.
Excellent communication and writing skills
Must be a self-starter who can work independently
Experience with tracking and reporting project metrics
Experience managing stakeholders and ability to quickly adjust to changing customer priorities
Experience with container technologies
Familiarity with system architecture
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Desired Skills
Secret Clearance and eligible to obtain Top Secret
Ability to obtain a CI Poly
Security+ certified (or other IAT Level II certified)
Knowledge of Agile, Kanban and/or JIRA
Familiarity with data management platforms and data pipeline management
Familiarity with the cloud and cloud services
Understanding of data management, data governance, and how data is used within AI to drive decision making
Experience with integrating and troubleshooting distributed software systems
Experience with high-level data analysis/investigation using Python, Bash, R, or similar
Experience with system architecture
Experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
