We're hiring a
Cloud Network Engineer tojoin our team. This role offers a remote schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Mix of engineering, administration, troubleshooting, and strategic planning to support and optimize cloud-based network infrastructures
Monitoring network performance and availability across cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, using tools such as Azure Network Watcher, CloudWatch, or SolarWinds
Responsible for designing and configuring cloud network components—including virtual networks, subnets, VPNs, and load balancers—ensuring secure and efficient connectivity across hybrid environments
Perform problem resolution by analyzing logs, packet captures, and alerts to identify and remediate network issues
Skills & Qualifications:
8 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming experience or other job-related IT experience
Experience with cloud networking components such as Azure Virtual Network (VNet), AWS VPC, Route Tables, Network Security Groups (NSGs), VPN Gateways, and Load Balancers
Proficiency with VPN technologies is critical for configuring and troubleshooting both cloud and hybrid network environments
Experience with tools such as AWS CloudWatch for monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning of cloud networks
Familiarity with tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates is important for automating network provisioning and ensuring consistency across environments
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree OR 4 years of job-related work experience OR2 years of job-related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree
The hourly rate for this position is $57.28.
