Imaging Tech II

Dignity Health . Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Imaging Tech II / CT Scanner Technician to join our dynamic medical imaging team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will operate CT scanners to produce high‑quality diagnostic images for medical interpretation. Responsibilities
Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders.
Monitor patients for any adverse reactions and respond promptly.
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to obtain relevant clinical information for accurate image interpretation.
Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Document and record patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
Job Requirements
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.
Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA‑approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology from an AMA‑approved school.
Cross‑training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required.
License issued by ARRT (national), CRT (state), and Fluoroscopy certification.
Certification in one modality is required.
Fire Safety card (must obtain within 90 days of start date).
This position is represented by SEIU‑UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
Where You’ll Work Founded in 1955, Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394‑bed, acute‑care, nonprofit community hospital located in Northridge, California. The hospital offers a full complement of award‑winning services, including the Leavey Cancer Center, cardiovascular and stroke centers, a Center for Assault Treatment Services, a pediatric medical center, and the only pediatric trauma center in the San Fernando Valley.
Pay Range $55.95 - $65.91 per hour
