Job Overview
One of TEKsystems clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department’s Desktop Support team. This is a great opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door with a local enterprise company and grow their skills within IT Support.
Position Details Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Marshall, MI.
Pay Pay range $19.00 – $25.00/hr (negotiable).
Workplace Type Fully onsite in Marshall, MI.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications
Swapping out laptops/desktops and deploying Windows 10/11
Re-imaging windows 11 onto machines from windows 10
To assist all our users with any logged IT related incident when called upon
To take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary
To accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system
To install and configure new IT equipment
To resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware
To resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners
To maintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner
Qualifications Previous Helpdesk or Desktop Support or PC Technician experience is preferred. IT certifications are desirable. Please apply if you’re interested in hearing more about this opportunity and if you feel you’re capable of completing any of these job duties.
