Outside Sales Representative/Territory Manager
Central Woodwork, a family‑owned distributor of millwork products with over 80 years of experience, is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative/Territory Manager to cover Louisiana & Southern Arkansas. The ideal candidate will be based in Monroe, LA or Shreveport, LA and will manage an existing book of business while growing new accounts.
We are committed to providing the highest quality products and customer satisfaction with a humble approach. This role is the face of our company in the territory and acts as the liaison between customers and our office/production group.
Responsibilities
Develop an annual plan to grow sales in the territory and execute that plan, adjusting for market pressures.
Take direct responsibility for all customers in the assigned territory through in‑person contact and a consultative selling role.
Provide comprehensive training to customers on product knowledge, the online portal Cenwoody365, pricing support, and resolution of concerns.
Pursue and participate in lumberyard sales events, dealer functions, and facility tours to grow partnerships.
Visit all accounts consistently and develop relationships with both existing and new customers.
Deliver sales presentations and keep management apprised of competitive situations, pricing promotions, and conditions.
Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
Follow up after the sale to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and problem‑solve on job sites.
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Work remotely and ideally reside in North or Central Louisiana.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams) and basic internet/email skills.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Prior experience in sales; experience in the window & door industry is a plus.
