An established commercial law firm with a highly collegial environment and solid client base across varied practice areas is currently seeking a
Real Estate Associate Attorney
to join their team full-time. The firm maintains a team-based environment and provides a solid path to partnership. The salary for this role will be market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with generous performance-based bonuses, and a benefits suite. Originations are incentivised, and business development is encouraged supportively.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of commercial, retail, industrial, and mixed‑use properties
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, restrictive covenants, and development agreements
Advise on title and survey matters and coordinate due diligence reviews
Work with lenders and borrowers on commercial real estate financing, including construction and permanent loans
Support complex entity structuring and joint‑venture transactions
Collaborate with team members across practice areas to deliver strategic and efficient solutions
Required Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
4–7 years of commercial real estate experience, ideally gained in a law firm or sophisticated in‑house setting
Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating key real estate transaction documents
Experience handling title and survey review, closings, and financing documentation
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
Entrepreneurial mindset – proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working directly with clients
