Position Overview
We are looking for an Associate Attorney who is prepared to handle cases independently, with appropriate supervision and support. This role is ideal for a lawyer who wants meaningful courtroom experience, hands‑on client representation, and exposure to multiple practice areas.
Responsibilities
Appear in court on behalf of clients, including hearings, conferences, and trials
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
Represent clients directly in civil, criminal, family law, and real estate matters
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
Manage assigned caseloads from intake through resolution
Conduct legal research and provide strategic case analysis
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Arkansas
Ability to appear in court and handle matters independently
Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
Comfortable working across multiple practice areas
Professional demeanor and strong client communication skills
Preferred
Proficiency with the Spanish language
Experience in any of the following areas: civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, or real estate
