Overview & Responsibilities The Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist is a registered nurse with advanced knowledge and clinical expertise in neonatal intensive care nursing. Responsibilities include assessing patient and family needs within the NICU; planning, executing, and evaluating nursing care; providing direct patient care; developing clinical staff; offering consultation and research; and ensuring optimal quality nursing practice aligned with the organization’s vision and values.
Requirements
Two (2) years of successful experience in neonatal intensive care nursing; theoretical and practical expertise in nursing education
CA CNS certification
Master’s Degree – Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
Current basic life support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Pay Range $48.96 – $74.06 per hour
