UChicago Medicine , as a Lead Clinical Informatics Nurse Analyst . This position will be primarily onsite with some opportunities for remote work. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
The Lead Clinical Informaticist provides strategic leadership for the planning, governance, evaluation, and optimization of clinical information systems at an enterprise level. They act as a mentor for informatics analysts, and lead projects or functions within the informatics scope of work. The Lead Clinical Informaticist advises organizational leaders, drives informatics strategy, and influences system-wide decision-making.
Essential Job Functions
Lead complex projects or programs to meet the goals of Clinical Informatics, Information Technology, or Clinical Leaders.
Directs work of theClinical Informaticists to achieve outcomes defined by the Department of Clinical Informatics, Information Technology, or Clinical Leaders
Develops processes to ensure consistent quality in the work of Clinical Informatics
Provides mentorship and guidance to team members where appropriate
Researches and resolves issues escalated by informatics analysts
Monitors metrics such as time allocation and ticket completion
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
RN License
Informatics experience
Project management experience
Strong communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Informatics experience
Preferred Qualifications
Epic certification
Informatics certification

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
