PURPOSE: Assist in the overall administrative and technical direction of one or more projects. Responsible for specific portions of a construction project on a day-to-day basis, supporting the Superintendent and collaborating with the project team. Additionally, assist the project team in new project pursuit, design, and estimate/scope preparation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in strategy sessions for projects, offering insights and aiding strategic planning.
Create conceptual designs using AutoCAD to visualize project concepts and requirements.
Support estimates, quantity takeoffs, bid solicitations, and comparisons for informed decision-making.
Aid in establishing and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project.
Assist in generating and managing billings, cost projections, contracts, purchase orders in Viewpoint.
Collaborate on scope change estimates, bid forms, scopes of work, specifications, subcontracts.
Participate in shop drawing review, submittal tracking in Procore, and RFI generation.
Maintain project files, drawings, and documentation for efficiency.
Support design and project issue resolution, ensuring continuity.
Create meeting notes and agendas to facilitate communication.
Assist the Project Team with execution tasks to meet milestones.
Coordinate and facilitate subcontractor meetings for collaboration and progress.
Maintain communication with stakeholders on a day-to-day basis to address project-related issues.
Create Operation and Maintenance manuals and As‑Built drawings.
Optimize project team time allocation, identifying cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating tasks and priorities.
Develop verbal and written communication skills appropriate for project contexts.
Enforce safety protocols on all projects.
Additional duties may be assigned by authorized personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Requires a 4‑year degree in Engineering, Construction, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, estimating, and project management with cost accounting software (Viewpoint preferred), and Procore.
Capable of training and advising others effectively.
Quick to grasp new systems and processes, communicating effectively with diverse teams.
Demonstrates strong communication skills across written reports, business correspondence, and presentations.
Ability to compute numerical calculations, discounts, percentages, and basic algebra.
Capacity to analyze problems, gather data, and make informed decisions based on factual evidence.
