Revelation has multiple ongoing programs to evaluate Gemini, including the treatment of chronic kidney disease, prevention for post‑surgical infection, and as a treatment for acute kidney injury.

Role Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for AP and payroll processing, monthly reconciliations, and month‑end close procedures.

The Senior Accountant must have exceptional attention to detail, be self‑motivated, and have an outstanding work ethic.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, strong technical accounting competence, be able to work with cross‑functional teams, and be a results‑oriented professional.

Experience in a public company environment and familiarity with SOX compliance are preferred.

Duties / Responsibilities

Support the full cycle month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring all financial deadlines are met accurately and efficiently.

Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including coding invoices, obtaining approvals, and ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Process bi‑monthly payroll and employer retirement submissions in a timely manner.

Manage employee expense reporting system, including verification of receipts and coding.

Prepare and post complex journal entries across various accounts, including R&D and G&A accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed assets, and others as necessary.

Perform detailed and timely reconciliations of all assigned balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving all discrepancies promptly.

Conduct thorough P&L and Balance Sheet flux analyses, providing clear, documented explanations for variances compared to prior periods.

Assist with audit requests, including preparing any required supporting schedules and documentation.

Manage the accounting for fixed assets and related capital expenditure tracking and tagging, ensuring proper capitalization and disposal procedures are followed.

Ensure all general ledger activities and account reconciliations are performed in compliance with US GAAP.

Work with R&D employees to adhere to monthly time reporting requirements.

Actively participate in the maintenance and optimization of the company’s accounting and finance software and other financial tools, focusing on streamlining the close process.

Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains within daily and monthly accounting tasks.

Follow and improve comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key responsibilities.

Manage IRS 1099 compliance and reporting.

Support the implementation of new projects, system implementations, and integrations.

Skills / Abilities

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.

Strong technical accounting knowledge with proficiency in financial statement preparation, GAAP, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Ability to multitask in a busy work environment.

Competence with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Bill.com) and advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, XLOOKUP).

Willingness to help out wherever needed and across all departments.

Detail‑oriented, strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various departments.

Education / Certifications / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Experience in a publicly traded company preferred.

Experience in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry preferred.

Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.

3+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles.
