Corrections Facility Coordinator 1 – DHS‑DCR Pruntytown Correctional Center & Jail – Taylor Co.
Take on this leadership role overseeing daily operations of the Central Receiving, Laundry, Post Office, barbershop, or another designated functional area within a State Correctional Facility. This role is part of the WV Department of Health, Health Facilities, and Human Services, located in Taylor County, WV.
Responsibilities
Provide oversight of daily operations of the assigned area.
Ensure staff and inmates comply with DOC policies, institutional operating procedures, post orders, ACA standards, and applicable federal and state laws.
Serve as a lead worker managing assigned personnel and inmates.
Acquisition and inventory control of all materials, supplies, and equipment needed for the area.
Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
High‑school graduation or equivalent.
At least four years of full‑time (or equivalent part‑time) experience in the area of assignment, with one year in a lead‑worker capacity.
Approved coursework from an accredited institution may substitute for required experience on a year‑for‑year basis, up to four years.
