Job Summary Join our dynamic Transplant Team as a Surgical/Scrub Tech, where you’ll play a vital role in life‑changing procedures. In this position, you’ll assist surgeons during transplant surgeries by ensuring a sterile environment, preparing instruments and supplies, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team. Your expertise will contribute directly to positive patient outcomes, making a meaningful impact every day. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Scrub Technologist school/program or two (2) years of experience as a surgical technologist.
Must have excellent communication skills, strong work ethics, and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Surgical First Assist
Responsibilities
Assists surgeons with kidney transplant perfusion and solid organ preparation as required
Ensures equipment is in working order and machine repairs are completed. Maintains supplies related to kidney perfusion
Accepts and transports import organs as needed and assists surgeons to prepare organs for transplant that are not perfused. Packages and arranges shipping of declined organs (outside procurement event) according to UNOS regulations
Tracks data and keeps complete records related to organs and transplantation
Salary Information Commensurate with education and experience
